Day 1: Marrakech – High Atlas – Ait Ben Haddou – Rose Valley – Dades Valley (6 hours drive)

Pickup from your hotel, riad, or airport in Marrakech in the morning. Travel through the High Atlas Mountains and the Tizi n’Tichka pass, stopping for panoramic views of the breathtaking landscapes and Berber villages.

Visit the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site, featured in films like Gladiator, Alexander, The Mummy, and TV series such as Game of Thrones. Continue to Ouarzazate, known as the gateway to the desert. Free time for lunch before exploring the Rose Valley and the large palm groves of Skoura.

Drive to Boumalne Dades for dinner and overnight stay in a riad overlooking the valley.

Day 2: Dades Valley – Todra Gorges – Merzouga Dunes – Camel Trek – Luxury Desert Camp (5 hours drive)

After breakfast, drive through Dades Valley, stopping to admire the spectacular gorges. Continue to Todra Gorges, a high red cliff-sided canyon carved by the Todra river, ideal for short walks and photos. Travel through the palm groves of Tinjdad and Touroug, with free time for lunch.

In the afternoon, arrive at the Merzouga Sahara Desert, where you switch to camels for a trek across the dunes. Stop at a high dune to enjoy the magical desert sunset. Continue to a luxury desert camp, where dinner is served, and you can enjoy Berber drum music and dancing around the campfire under the stars. Overnight in the desert camp.

Day 3: Merzouga Dunes – Erfoud – Midelt – Cedars Forest – Ifrane – Fes (7 hours drive)

Wake up early to watch the sunrise over the Merzouga dunes. Enjoy breakfast at the camp, then return by camel or 4WD to the meeting point to rejoin your driver. Visit Rissani, the ancient capital of Tafilalet, and explore its traditional souk. Continue to Erfoud to see fossil workshops.

Drive along the Ziz River, stopping for panoramic views of the valley. Free time for lunch in Midelt before heading to the cedar forests, home to Barbary macaques. Visit Ifrane, famous for its low temperatures, snow, and Alpine-style houses. Finally, arrive in Fes, where the tour ends with drop-off at your riad or airport.
