Day 1: Tangier → Chefchaouen

Your 5 days Morocco trip begins in Tangier. Travel through the Rif Mountains, passing the charming city of Tetouan, before arriving in Chefchaouen, Morocco’s famous blue-painted town.
Spend the afternoon exploring its medina, artistic streets, and the main square Uta El-Hammam. Overnight stay in Chefchaouen.

Day 2: Chefchaouen → Volubilis → Meknes → Fes

After breakfast, we will continue our 5 Days in Morocco itinerary from Tangier to visit the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis, which are well preserved since it is recognized as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, and has many beautiful mosaics scattered here and there, as well as beautiful ancient pillars and arches. After going through the ruins, we drive for 30 km to visit one of the imperial cities, Meknes, the Ismaili capital, where we visit Bab Al-Mansour, the basin of Sahrij Souani, the royal stables, the attic, and the mausoleum of Moulay Ismail. Then we head to Fes. Overnight in a riad/hotel.

Day 3: Fes → Ifrane → Azrou → Midelt → Merzouga (Sahara Desert)

After breakfast, drive through Ifrane, known for its alpine architecture and clean streets. Stop at the Azrou Cedar Forest to see wild monkeys.
Continue via Midelt and the Ziz Valley, stopping for photos before reaching Merzouga in the Sahara Desert.
Enjoy a camel ride across the dunes, watch the sunset, and spend the night in a Berber desert camp with traditional music under the stars.

Day 4: Merzouga → Todra Gorges → Dades Valley

Wake up early to catch the sunrise over the dunes, then head towards Todra Gorges, a magnificent canyon known for its towering cliffs.
Continue to Dades Valley, passing by palm groves, rock formations known as Monkey Fingers, and the scenic Tisdrine curves.
Dinner and overnight stay in a hotel in Dades Valley.

Day 5: Dades Valley → Ouarzazate → Ait Benhaddou → Marrakech

After breakfast, drive through the Rose Valley (known for its annual rose festival in May) and the palm groves of Skoura.
Stop in Ouarzazate, known as the “Hollywood of Africa,” to visit Taourirt Kasbah and the famous film studios.
Continue to the Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site featured in Gladiator and Game of Thrones.
Finally, cross the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi N’Tichka Pass and arrive in Marrakech, where your 5-day tour ends.
